The Run (Part 1)
This is a short film about two young brothers (Tony and Jake) in charge of a large gang. When finding out that a rival gang were squatting in a family home on their turf both brother went to take it down, not considering the chance of it being a trap. This ends with both brothers going on the run and surviving in the forest until both the police and Rowan (head of rival gang) eases off them. These series of short films are intense action thrillers, with the brothers doing anything they can do to survive.
When making this film I took a lot of inspiration from "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kind" (1969), a superb film all about two bandits, who were also best friends going on the run against the law. As well as taking inspiration from the story, I was also inspired by the films lack of special effects and budget which I also struggled with. Even though this was complicated to get around it forced me to be more creative in my use of cinematography, story plot and special effects. Another issue when filming was only having one camera, which is very good but can be complicated when shooting a scene with quick takes.

The Run trailer (Part 2)
This is the second part of the run, almost completely set in the forest, where the brothers have to survive the elements, the law and rival gangs. I have spent a while working on this film and it means a lot to me, and I want to get all of these films seen as much as possible because I love this.
